I'm a huge fan of Andy Scott's art, culminating in the Kelpies in Falkirk. This earlier work, though smaller in scale, is truly evocative of the Clydesdale heavy horse. Its flowing steel rods imply a sturdy power but also the almost delicate gentleness of these big animals. I made this second visit at night to capture the ghostlike appearance of the illuminated horse.
