Sunshine after the storm0026-31

The low setting sun emerging from the cloud edge of a receding squall lit up the wet fields and trees. New spring grass particularly when wet glows with an unbelievably intense luminosity. The golden hue of the grass was due not only to the sun, but was in part a result of the wettest winter on record leaching nutrients from the soil and causing chloritic stress. Good for my photograph, not so good for the farmer!
