This is one of the four bronze figures representing the Horsemen of the Apocalypse in the small Arentshof garden behind the Gruuthuse Museum. They are actually not very large, only around 3 feet tall, set on slightly taller plinths. For three of them I've tried to make them more imposing by getting down close to the ground and shooting upwards. This gives the appearance of much larger sculptures framed against a dramatic sky. This perspective also cuts out much of the clutter of surrounding buildings and the hoards of tourists. This fourth one can be isolated better without the low perspective.
