A chilly early October morning on the Forth river. The day before had been warm and the clearing skies during the night made it likely I might get a mist rising from the river in the early morning. It was high tide and the river water was completely motionless and in the windless air I got perfect reflections. The dawn colours completed a lucky coincidence of conditions.
